I received an early birthday present from the Government of Alberta this week! Can you believe it?! They had a professional photographer take a lovely clear photo of the back of my car, added it to a lovely personalized letter, and mailed it to me! All I have to do is pay $xxx for this gift!!! So amazing! NOT!! waaaah! :(The joys of getting used to driving in a new town..... discovering that they take their traffic laws VERY seriously! Now, don't get me wrong, I'm a very law-abiding citizen, but who hasn't rolled through an empty 4-way stop, or driven a few kilometres over the speed limit when your mind is on something else?
No getting away with that in Hinton! They have two vehicles (that we know of) randomly parked in secret, and not so secret, places, ready to catch you unawares!!!
So now that Kevin has had the professional photo of his truck taken on the day we moved to Hinton, and I've had my professional photo of my car taken at a local 4-way stop, I don't think we need any more photos of our vehicles!!
