At the beginning of the year I started doing the daily Joy Dare (found here) where you write something you're thankful for each day. The Joy Dare gives you the topic to write about. I haven't done it for a long time and thought I'd start up again..... and since today brings so much joy in our home I thought it was timely to start up again..... so here it goes....

Light: The bright light in my daughter's eyes as she told us about the surprise visit to Canada and proposal by her boyfriend.
Shadow: Reading and watching the story of Devon hiding in the shadows behind a pillar ready to jump out and surprise Danae.

Dark: Sending a whatsapp video from bed in the dark to our daughter after she woke us with her exciting news from Canada!
