I've decided that I'd like to start using some of my favourite photographs and adding some of my favourite Bible verses to them. The last post was one the first I've done. You can see it here.
I did another one a long time ago and posted it to pinterest but I can't remember how I did that... but here is that one, Isaiah 41:9&10. This verse means a lot to me because this verse is a promise God gave me about our life here in New Zealand and how God brought us from the opposite side of the earth and He promised he wouldn't forget about us! He has us here for a purpose and as that purpose is revealed we continue to trust God for His strength and guidance. Life's an adventure with God! The picture was taken as we were approaching Auckland one day on the bow of a boat at sunset.
This verse is one that Kevin has given to the church to memorize for the beginning of the year. The promise here is for us to remember that God will guide us, satisfy us and strengthen us. The picture is a rose in our garden... I love the raindrops.
This is one of my all time favourite verses! I've read and re-read this verse countless times and have taken comfort in it's words. I also remember a beautiful picture and saying that my Grandma had about how God takes care of the sparrows. The picture was taken on a glorious summer's day in Auckland while I was out with my daughter sitting under a magnificent jacaranda tree.
