Bob and Karin and two of their three children moved to Malaysia to work in an international church two years after Kevin and I and our girls moved to NZ. We were friends about 20 years ago in the Okanagan when Bob & Kevin were both pastoring churches there. They moved to Alberta to plant a church and we went on to plant a church in BC. Our lives headed in separate directions, but thanks to facebook, we reconnected about 3 years ago. When we found out they were going to Australia for a family holiday we thought that wasn't too far from us and we could probably arrange to meet them there for a few days together. We had a wonderful time catching up and reinvesting in each others' lives. What a blessing it is to have old friends who, once you're together again, you can feel like you've never been apart.
