On the weekend Kevin officiated the ceremony of Areshan and Karishma. On Saturday there was a full Indian wedding feast. The food was amazing. The ladies all came dressed in sarais, which were stunning! Paige was invited along to film the reception and did such a good job that the photographer who was there wants to have her come work with him and film the weddings that he is taking photos at. That would be a pretty fun job! This picture is of Areshan and Karishma all dressed in wedding finery. They looked so good. I love the multi-ethnicities that are here! What great experiences we are having, getting to be part of all these different cultural events!

Another cool thing that has been happening since living here, is the opportunity to visit with so many people that come to Auckland! This weekend Kevin had a facebook note from his 2nd cousin once removed (lol) from Ireland who is on a world working holiday tour! We had met Neil when we went to Ireland in July 2006, so it was great to have a visit over a Starbucks in downtown Auckland!
