some highlights of our week with Kyle

The week started off very fun as Kevin got a role in a Voda fone commerical! So Tuesday was wardrobe and Wednesday was filming. Kyle got to go along, which was fun for both of them. We're pretty excited about Kevin getting this opportunity as it could definitely be the start of helping us out financially here! God is very creative at providing for His people! In the commercial Kevin and his 'wife' are giving their 'daughter' a cell phone for her birthday and embarrassing her. He said it was a lot of fun to film. This is his Voda fone family!

Wednesday we went up the Sky Tower in the evening for dinner. What a magnificent view and delicious dinner! We had a wonderful evening. Thanks Kyle!

Friday Kevin and Kyle went to Hot Water Beach. This time we checked the tide schedule, so they actually got there at the right time to dig their own hot water spas.

Saturday we drove down to Raglan for the day. We had absolutely beautiful weather. Hot and sunny. We took a little detour to have a look at Bridal Veil Falls, then spent the rest of the day in Raglan, playing in the Tasman Sea.
While at the sea, we saw some people dressing up in a santa suit and taking christmas pictures on the beach. It was pretty funny!

On Sunday we are having our first ever ICC church service on the beach! We're going to carry on the Peachland tradition of church in the park. So for the next three Sundays we are going to be meeting down at Eastern Beach for church! Should be fun. This Sunday Kevin and Kyle are going to preach together in a dialogue type sermon that they are modeling after a friend of their's in Canada. We'll see how it goes! Exciting stuff! Then in the evening Kyle heads back to Canada. He leaves here Sunday night and arrives there Sunday morning. He gets a 40+ hour Sunday! lol. It's been such a blessing to have him here!

I like to read books by Francine Rivers and I clicked on that to see others with the same interest. I wanted to tell you also how amazing and scary it must be to be in New Zealand. What a great adventure God has sent you on. Blessings
