Kelly Tarlton's

Today Mom and Dad and I went to visit Kelly Tarlton's Undersea Aquarium. It was great! The main feature is the penguins. They were nesting. If you look at this picture the penguin in the middle is sitting on two eggs. We are going to have to go back when the eggs hatch and see all the babies! How exciting!

We also saw a lot of stingrays. They were pretty cool. There was also an underwater tunnel where you could see the sealife all around us.

The aquarium was built in the old sewer system. Pretty innovative! It is completely under the main road along the coastline. From the parking lot all you see is a small entrance way. Then you go downstairs and everything is underground. Here we are having our morning coffee looking out at sea level under the road. (when you visit us, you get lots of pictures taken! lol)

After leaving KT's we went over to Sylvia Park mall to look around. Mom and Dad even found amoose. lol. People here are very fascinated with moose! They can't believe it when we tell them stories of all the moose in our hometowns in northern Alberta.

That is so cool about the penguins!! It would be so amazing to see baby penguins. :) I'm thinking of our visit there with Kenz - so much fun! I'm not surprised that you took a pass on the museum. That's too much to do in one day!

Mom and Dad need to tell people that moose are really that tall. =) What do people say when mom & dad tell them about the ones that winter in their back yard?
