This morning mom and dad were able to meet our wonderful church family. They had many great little visits as they met many of the people there.
In the afternoon we got to meet some more new people! My cousin, who lives in Canada, gave our email address to a friend of hers who is here on a one year working holiday visa. Her friend emailed me a couple weeks ago and we were finally able to connect yesterday. Kate and her travelling buddy, Kelly came from downtown on the ferry and we picked them up for an afternoon visit. The other cool development is that we've been able to connect them with some friends of ours here who are gone for a month. The girls will get to housesit for this couple and have a month to explore this area and hopefully find some temporary work.
In the evening we had a houseful of happy teenagers watching High School Musical 2. haha..... It just came out here and so the girls and their friends were excited to see it.
