After leaving the light house, we came upon a most unexpected sight in New Zealand! Sand dunes! It was like a desert! The bus driver stopped the bus in the creek, that we had turned onto to drive through, and opened up the bottom of the bus, where he had
heaps of sand dune surf boards! So everyone who was daring enough grabbed one and headed up the dunes and back down again.....some more graceful than others....
