tourney's over

Well, they lost their final game today, 3-1. Paige wasn't able to play because of her pulled muscle yesterday. However, the team are in good spirits for the opportunity they had to attend the NZ school national tournament. They also placed 10th overall, which is what their boy's team did as well, so they feel like they've done well for themselves. The most exciting part was that Paige was voted MVP from our team for the whole tournament! Each team had a MVP picked and then all the MVP's make up the 'tournament team' and receive a t-shirt that says that. So that is quite the honor for Paige. I am so proud of her. She plays hard and she has such a great attitude (for the most part), inspiring her team to do their best.

Danae also made me burst my buttons today with a very wise and mature conversation and decision she made. Sorry, can't say any more than that.

Well, I'm off for our Friday night pizza! The one thing that's cheaper here than in Canada! yay!

I think Paige and I are on the same wave - I pulled my quads in our Sunday game and was so glad that God blessed me to be able to get through this week's game!! That is very cool about the mvp award!

Congrats to Paige on the MVP award. Having taken teams to provincials many times I know how special this is when it is at the next level which is nationals. Here in Canada high school teams don't get nationals..provincials is the highest you can go so Paige has a special privilege she never would have experienced here.

Congratulations on the job well done for Paige! I would love my daughter to participate in a sport she like when she grows up too.
