Sunday at 1:15 am Bruce and Niki arrived safely! It was so great to see them.....it makes the past 7 months disappear in an instant! Amazing how seeing your loved ones does that!
Sunday after church, we had a 'suitcase party'! They came bearing many gifts and things we'd asked them to bring along. It was like Christmas in July! Very much fun! We are now 'well-Canadianized' with t-shirts, hats, dollar store goodies, favorite treats, makeup, the girls got new blue jeans, ahhhh....life is good! :-) A huge thank you to Bruce and Niki, my parents, and a couple of friends from back home who took the time, effort and money to spoil the Nichols! Wow, we're THANKFUL!!!!! Look at all the Kraft Dinner they bought! hahaha Maybe that's what we'll feed Bruce and Niki for the next 3 weeks.......
In the evening we went to see Amazing Grace. What a great movie about commitment, determination, supportive friends/family. Loved it!Today (Monday) I'm off to work, the kids are off to school and Kevin will be Bruce and Niki's tour guide. Tomorrow, if the weather agrees, we're taking the ferry into the city.....
