proud of my girls....

This is Danae's latest piece of art. Isn't it fantastic? She was one of three girls from her class who were chosen to have their art displayed in the school. She was so excited, especially since this is her first art class ever. Makes me wonder when/if she would have discovered these talents and passion if we'd never left her old high school and moved here.

Paige still has her cast on. In fact, after yesterday's great wishful thinking that she'd get it removed, only to have a new one put on, she went out to play soccer today and SCORED!!!! and I got it on my camera....it's just a bit hard to see! So in the first picture she has just kicked the ball and in the second picture you can see it in the back corner and the goalie is dumbfounded...oh yah! Paige is squatting on the ground in the second picture watching it go in. If you look really close you can see her cast...haha....unlikely...she was pretty far away :-)

And MacKenzie....well, I'm just proud of her cuz she's just a wonderful kid who loves to play cards with me. :-)
