This, believe it or not, is a magnolia tree!!!! I planted one of these in front of our house in Peachland..... I don't think it will ever look like this one!! I can't wait to see it all in bloom. 
Our church had a picnic here on Sunday. It is One Tree Hill park. There is no longer one tree on the hill. Someone cut it down. We didn't get to the top of the park this time, to see the remains of the one tree, but we will go another day.
On Saturday we took a drive to Raglan to watch a surfing competition. The competition was a bit boring, but the scenery was spectacular!!!!
Those are sheep on that hillside overlooking the Tasman Sea.... amazing.
