Happy Easter!!

Big kids can still be little kids and need their traditions! This morning Paige and MacKenzie had our traditional treasure hunt with clues. Missing: Danae who is at Easter Camp with a friend and Bruce and Niki who have been part of our easter treasure hunt for how many years? But the girls still enjoyed it! Some things you never outgrow!

We had a wonderful church service celebrating Jesus' resurrection.
Then in the afternoon Kevin, Jason and Matt went to see 300 at the Imax. That way they could really see all the gore on the big screen with amazing sound! They said it was a pretty good movie.
We went to Matt & Sharilyn's for a Mexican Easter feast! Sharilyn had an egg hunt for all the kids - small and big....

We had a great Easter weekend! Now to wait for Danae to get home from camp and tell us all about it! 3000+ teenagers for 4 nights from all over NZ. Sounds like fun!

We missed being a part of that Easter tradition, too! It's amazing to try to calculate how many of those 'hunts' we've been blessed to be a part of. What a priviledged aunty and uncle we are! It looks like you still used the traditional dryer clue - a little different with your current clothes dryer!! :D I hope you made it hard - those girls were getting really skilled with those hunts!!

Next year Niki and I will email you clues for the hunt. The girls may have to take a plane to find the clue we hide here, but we'll send them back soon enough. =)

Happy EAster to you. Same old traditions here...mom always made Easter great at home too! New clothes, and chocolate. Sarah did the hunt here, all by her lonesome. The boys have lost interest in the hunt (though Colan was searching around in the extra hard places to find them :) But nobody is talking about it okay? :))
