It's the last week of school vacation here. The school system is set up way different from Canada. The kids start school in Feb. Have first term for 9 weeks. Get 2 weeks off. Go back for 10 weeks for second term. Have two weeks off. Go back for another 10 or 11 weeks for third term. Have two weeks off (that puts us at the end of Sept. early Oct.) Then go back for final term and are done for the year the end of the second week of Dec. for Christmas break and summer vacation! I think I like it.... but we'll see after we have a year under our belt!
So our plan for this week is to go away for a few days. We are really looking forward to it! Another chance to explore another place! Paige gets to take surf lessons for 2 days, and the rest of us will check out the little surfing community where we will be staying. Raglan. It's like a tropical Peachland. Very pretty!
