On Monday, Kevin and I took a 30 minute ferry ride from our little corner of the world into Auckland to meet with Kelly and Jen, and her parents for lunch down in the harbor. What a wonderful day! 
On the way home, as we were disembarking the ferry, Kevin noticed a little bird swimming in the water....yes....it was a PENGUIN!!!!!! It was o cute! About the size of a very large robin. By the time I got my camera out and ready, he had swam away a bit already. If you click on the picture it will enlarge and you can see it a bit clearer.
