Happy Birthday to Me!

Today Chelsey (on the right) and I (in the middle) took the 30 minute ride on the ferry (in the background) from Half Moon Bay (where we live) into the city (where Jenn lives) to visit Jenn (on the left) for lunch at her apartment followed by yummy gelato (in our tummies). It was a wonderful way to spend my birthday! For supper we barbequed steak (or maybe I should say Kevin sacrificed steak to the barbeque!) and then we went to a movie as a family. I got to speak with mom and dad on the phone and Bruce and Niki (who are in Africa right now) on Skype. Gotta love modern technology! I also received some wonderful well wishes from friends back in Canada and new friends here in NZ. What a great day! God is good!
