Since we've arrived here, I've kept my eye on the classifieds in the paper to see what's available. This past week 3 different jobs caught my eye. So I guess the time has come to send in my resume & letters of reference, and see what happens. I have so enjoyed not working these past three months. It has been a much needed and much appreciated break! However, I do enjoy working (crazy as that sounds) and we need help financially, so I guess I'll launch out into the NZ workforce. The three jobs are all at local schools. One is 20 hrs/wk part-time librarian assistant at a local high school. One is 16.5 hrs/wk part-time science lab assistant at the local Christian high school. This would be setting up labs, keeping the lab stocked, etc. The last one is full-time 37.5 hrs/wk at our kids' high school, a 5 minute walk down the road, as admin assistant responsible for cashier/accounts for the school. They all have their pros and cons, but I figure the only way to see what God has in store for me is to take the step and send in the resumes! That's this week's job. Please pray that God puts me exactly where He can use me best!
