Today was Indian Sunday. Pastor Paul Christian and his family led the service. It was awesome! They are a family who are here vacationing from India. They go back home next week. On Monday they are joining us for supper and Violet is cooking us an authentic Indian meal. I am very excited! I am making 'Canadian Carrot Cake' for dessert!
Paige joined Jason and Chelsey and the rest of the worship team singing today. Violet lent many of ladies traditional outfits. Paige looked gorgeous in it! (Danae was at home, not feeling well, and MacKenzie chose not to wear any Indian clothing and I had a very stiff neck so I didn't get to church early enough to put one on ) But we sure enjoyed looking at the beautiful colorful outfits! It is such a great atmosphere in this church of unity. There are people from so many different nations and cultures and we are all together worshiping Jesus! I love it!
After church we had Jason and Chelsey over to initiate our new barbeque and outdoor furniture! This pic is of our front yard, taken through the living room sliding door. It was another beautiful day....and ended with an amazing rainstorm!
