This is Jason and Chelsey. They are two of God's gifts to us. They are now in New Zealand!

Way back when we first sent out an email telling people of our possible move to NZ, we had 2 very quick and very excited responses. One was from Jason and Chelsey. The other was from Dale and Amber. Both of these couples have worked with us in ministry during our time in Peachland. Both of these couples felt led by God to support us in our ministry adventure, not just financially and with prayer (both of which we are incredibly grateful for), but physically, with their presence! To say we were blown away was a complete understatement!

Chelsey and Jason began making plans to be in NZ in early November, even before we had our visas or any final arrangements on our end. They were going, because they believed in what God was leading us to do. Let me tell you....over the past few months they have been a real encouragement to me personally with their faith and enthusiasm. So on Nov.3rd they flew off around the world. Since their arrival, they have experienced God's blessing in their lives. Chelsey received a job taking care of 2 children 3 days a week. In exchange for the childcare, her and Jason get to live in the family's basement suite, complete with all amenities! Unbelievable! I think they were only in NZ a few days before that all fell into place. Amazing.

Dale and Amber are the other couple who will be joining us around August. They are teaching English as a Second Language in China, but have made plans to join us when their contract is up. They are busy looking for work for when they move.

The presence of both of these couples in New Zealand with us is beyond words. So I won't try to explain it!

Lastly, we found out that a guy that used to be in our youth ministry way back in Westside Alliance days, who has gone on to become a doctor, get married and has a newborn, will be taking a 6 month internship program in Auckland.....and not just in Auckland, but in the EXACT same neighbourhood where we will be living and ministering! We met with them a couple of weeks ago and are so excited to be going on this journey with them.

It's just crazy...this whole thing..... God is good.
