Just thought I'd post a little update about what's happening over here.....
Paige and Danae left on Sunday for the month at camp. They love camp and were ready for a month of fun and leadership training. Kenz goes for the last week as a camper.
Kevin left on Wednesday for 2 weeks in New Zealand to check things out. We are all very excited about all of this!
MacKenzie and I have been manning the fort, along with my parents. We are preparing for the 2nd of many moving sales! We had a starter sale in June. This one is a little more extensive and the ones to come will be even moreso. Mom and Dad have been a huge help and motivators in all of this process! They are awesome organizers and purgers!
I have also been blessed with help from my sister-in-law, Niki. The other day she was helping sort stuff, and helped me work through 11 years of kids' school stuff! Every year at the end of June I put their school stuff in another box, to be 'sorted later'. Haha, later never comes! But now later is here! So we enthusiastically sorted through everything and came out with a small box of special things the kids have done, along with 4 very heavy recycling bags and a garbage can of broken binders! I also found a $20 bill in one of the binders, 3 calculators and numerous rulers!
Yesterday when Niki was helping us, we were all discussing memories. Niki made the quote of the week when she said that we aren't throwing away memories, we are making room for new memories! yay Niki!
So that would about sum up what's happening over here right now. We are purging our house, to prepare the way to move on and make new memories!
Please pray that Kevin's trip goes well as he is checking things out. Pray for the kids at camp, Kenz & I at home and for our house to sell.
