MacKenzie has been playing ball and having a great time! This pic was taken at her ball tournament last weekend in Summerland. Unfortunately they only won 1 of their 4 games.... but they had fun! (sidenote: just today we went to this same ball diamond and watched Kennedy Lewis pitch a pretty awesome game! They won! It was great to see Judy and Lyle coaching their team. The Nichol coaches continue!)
The view on my drive to work each morning. (actually every time we leave home, we see this view) Stunning. Sometimes I think we are a little crazy to be thinking of moving away from here! (by the way... nothing definite has developed yet for future plans....please keep praying. If you know me, you know how hard it is for me to not have all my ducks in a row! The kids assembling calendars for our camp fund raiser which will be next Sunday at the car show. Hope we make lots of money!
The local golf course club house went up in a blaze a few weeks ago. Kevin ran the main pumper truck for 8 hours. The fire started from sparks from a 'controlled burn' just below the golf course. The golf course is also about 2 km from our house, so if this had been in mid-summer and had gotten out of control, we may have been evacuated. Our house borders forested crownland....
Paige playing soccer. Her speed has really increased this year. She's looking pretty good out there! She's the one in the white shorts & socks.
