sunday we booked some tours for the week. that took awhile! then we lay on the beach. wow. end of day. hahaha in the evening we watched a stage show here at the resort of GREASE. ( see caps locked. :-) ) oh yah, i got my hair braided. that was fuN!
monday we got on a tour bus and went to downtown puerto vallarta. I loved seeing the whole area. i just wanted to absorb everything about the culture. the mexican people are truly amazing artisans. they display their talents everywhere. i took a zillion pics! then we drove into the countryside and had lunch at a little restaurant in the middle of nowhere! it was wonderful. kevin would have loved the seafood, which none of our group ordered, sorry dear! then we stopped at a tequila factory and i picked up a little bottle for shanan. the big ones cost way too much. but at least shanan will get a taste of pure tequila. then we came back to the hotel, tired and hot!
tonight local craftsman are allowed in the resort to sell their wares. i picked up a few souvenirs. tomorrow dad and i are taking a series of local buses to the market. if you don't here from me again, we are stranded somewhere !
