A couple things to share about yesterday and today....
1. Kevin was a real sweetheart! On Valentine's Day, his 4 girls came home to chocolates and flowers on our pillows! What an amazing dad and hubby! Thanks dear!
2. The youth had a lot of fun at the chocolate fondue. There were 9 girls and one grade 7 boy. The boy and Kevin went downstairs to play Monkey Ball and the girls and I stayed upstairs and had a lot of fun! At one point one of my daughters, Danae, said, "see we don't need guys around to have fun on Valentine's Day!" That's my girl! Keep that attitude and you will always be able to celebrate Valentine's Day with a smile! Check out the pics I put on our youth's blog. 3l4
3. MacKenzie didn't get the job at the bakery. The first question they asked her was why she wanted to work and when she said to earn money to go to Ireland this summer, they basically said no. Very upsetting! They want to know she will be around all summer. What's to say some kid they hire doesn't quit in 2 months anyway. It is washing dishes, after all. I am sure that's not the kind of job most kids would last at for months and months on end anyway! She took it well and the whole experience of applying for and being interviewed for a job was great!

5. Paige and Danae got their end of first semester report cards. Danae got all A's. Paige got all B's. I am so proud of them! Great job for their first term of high school!
