I love to worship!

First off....wasn't that an awesome episode of 24?!?!?!???!!! What a great season this is turning out to be. We all sit on the couch afterwards wishing we were actually watching the season on DVD so we could just keep watching!! You can click on the pic to check out the show's website.

Last night I got to do one of my favorite things in the world....worship with DCM! DCM is the band that my brother and his wife started in our church about 12 years ago. They are awesome! I always love when they lead worship in our church. Last night we had a youth event where DCM played and Kyle spoke. It was great. Not a huge turnout, as you can see in the pic...that's pretty much our youth group! :-) But boy, did we have fun! There were also a few younger kids from another youth group that were there for the worship service/concert.

I love that our daughters can have a great time no matter the size of the crowd. In this pic they are singing Trading My Sorrows complete with actions!

Here are Paige, Kelsey and Kenz singing with the band. Pirjo had a camera on stage to take pics from the band's perspective... below is another one.
If you want to hear a few of DCM's songs, check out their by clicking on their logo.

Small groups allow for richer experiences, better discipleship. Some kids will benefit from that size and not slip through the cracks. If I were a youth pastor (scary thought, eh?), I'd want it under 15 kids because that's about the upper limit of personal effectiveness. Beyond that and you're just a preacher.
