We heard this weekend that a cousin of mine has passed away. He had a serious weight problem and his body just stopped working. It's very sad.
It also is extremely strange as this is the first of our generation to die. He was the same age as my older brother (43).
As children we always enjoyed going to their house in Calgary. They were the 'rich' cousins. They were the only family we knew who had an in-ground trampoline and we loved to jump on it! After it had rained and water collected in the hole under the tramp, Allen would jump real hard and splash everyone. We loved that! He also had a huge rec room with a pool table and hockey net. It was fun to go to Allen's when we were kids.
My dad's oldest sister, her husband and their other 2 sons and their families are in our thoughts and prayers this week as they remember Allen's life and mourn his passing.
