Yesterday we hosted our church's Christmas open house, at our house. I had asked 3 other ladies to make soup and I made a pot, as well. We also had enough other food to feed a small army! Directly after church, everyone was invited up to our place for lunch and fellowship. At one point, there must have been at least 60+ people eating, laughing, visiting & singing (a local 'celebrity', Scot - of Scotty & the Slamdogs - played guitar and sang some good oldies that everyone loved!).
Around 3 pm the crowd thinned out and we had a few smaller groups come through. By 6, everyone was gone and we enjoyed a nice evening with our own little family. What an awesome day! It was so refreshing to have such a fun church family time!God is good.
