teachers on strike...kids at home

Yes, the teachers are on strike and the kids are at home.....so far so good. This is what Paige and Danae did today....homework outside. They had to make sure they are caught up in case there was school tomorrow (which there isn't)

The weather has been absolutely beautiful. I really want to get a family photo with the fall colors and the lake in the background, but it is proving to be pretty hard to coordinate! Try again tomorrow!

MacKenzie went to the pool with three of her friends today and now they are all here for night. Paige also has a friend for night. So we are now up to 8 females and Kevin. Yay for estrogen! Poor Kevin!

He leaves tomorrow for a week in Vancouver at the North American FireFighter Chaplains Convention thingamabob....should be lots of testosterone there! and lots of chick flicks around here! heehee
