Team Canada Olympic tryouts are here in Kelowna for 3 days this week. The town's abuzz with sightings of Wayne Gretzky, Iginla, etc. Pretty exciting for a relatively small city to have some big name hockey stars around! Kevin and MacKenzie are going Thursday with Bruce and Niki for the day at the rink. There are 2 practices and a scrimmage each day between 10&2. Kenz has a Team Canada Iginla t-shirt she is going to take along and maybe get signed. Paige and Danae will be quite disappointed that they are missing all the hockey excitement...but come to think of it, they are so hooked on camp, that it would take something pretty amazing to distract them from their experience.
Go Team Canada! :-) Maybe I will be able to post some photos of Kevin and Kenz with some famous hockey players tomorrow!
