Another trip back and forth to camp accomplished! I picked up MacKenzie yesterday from a wonderful week of camp. She had a fantastic time. Once the camp puts the photos up, I will link them here. She is already missing camp and plans on going next year for the 2 week SLP program. She's even working on a camp name. You can check out her blog for the names she is trying to decide between.
I also got to spend a bit of time with Paige and Danae and their friend, Janelle. We all went into Salmon Arm to Boston Pizza for a pasta and chocolate milk fix. Then to the mall to pick up a few things before dropping them back off at camp, where Danae and Janelle were going to dye their hair purple and orange, respectively. Oh to be young and crazy?!?! Hopefully there are no permanent tattoos or piercings happening, hey Shuana? :-)
Paige's voice is still very raspy as she just enjoys talking to everyone too much! Sound like someone else we all know and love? Danae has had a couple of very cool God experiences which I will let her blog about when she returns home. So all in all they are continuing to have a life changing experience. This week they are each partnered up with a counsellor to help with a cabin. The kids are 9-12 years. P&D are really looking forward to this.
Paige has one of Kevin's CBC friend's daughters in her cabin. (Scott Fortnum) It is really amazing to see all the CBC connections coming back around at camp. Lots of pastors' kids working and camping. It's neat that our kids can connect with the children of Kevin's friends from his many years in the Alliance circles.
