Well it's Friday! Hooray! I love the weekend....hanging out with my family. Today I am picking up the kids and a couple of their friends after school and we are heading out to Penticton to pick up some more Holey Soles. You have got to check out these shoes....they are awesome! We each have a pair or two and live in them. www.holeysoles.com They will be great for the camp showers and hanging out at the beach too!
Then Kenz gets to go camping with a friend of hers. They are going to the luxurious campground in Westbank by the waterslides.... hee hee. She is so excited, she'd be happy to sleep in a tent in their backyard! Kevin and I were discussing the sad fact that we never go camping anymore. With ball practice Fridays, soccer Saturdays, church Sundays, and Danae working some Fridays and Saturdays. Along with the fact that our tent is in serious need of repair....and the fact we can't camp weekdays in summer because I work....oh woe is us! Oh well, we are having great family times without camping. Maybe at another stage in our lives.
Saturday is Paige's soccer game (Go Lakers Go!) and then we are heading into Kelowna to meet up with some of the Baergen clan for a picnic at Ben Lee Park where there is an outdoor waterpark. Karen & Shanan & Ethan & Gwen & Bruce & Uncle John & Aunty Lorraine & Byron & hopefully Brent, Sabrina & Sawyer. It will be good to connect with a few of the relatives that live close by that we hardly ever see!
