Well, today is the last day of regular classes for the kids. Tonight is Paige and Danae's grade 9 grad program and party. Kevin and I will be going with Paige and Danae. Kenz will be off to youth group.
Our kids have had a wonderful year! Great friends, great choices, respect for their teachers (even the ones who drove them crazy!!), great marks. All in all, a good year.
Next week they go on Wednesday to pick up their report cards and that's it!
We have great plans for them for the next week and a half before holidays. Evil parent plans. Ones that make them work real hard while Kevin and I are both at work. They are very excited as I am sure you can guess!
Then next Sunday we are off on holidays! I am really looking forward to going away for a bit. The first week we will be at Eagle Bay Camp where Kevin is speaking at a teen camp and Bruce and Niki are leading worship. It is going to be a blast!
Then we head straight to Calgary on the 9th for the Nichol and Foster party weekend. We will stay with Tim and Kelly for the week, take in the Stampede, maybe try to go see Tim in action at court if possible, head to Drumheller for a day to take in the museum and the Passion Play (with Jeff and Veronique...we are really looking forward to spending the day with them!) and then heading home back to work and summer in the Okanagan!

We're looking forward to spending the day with you guys too ! Hopefully the weather is nicer when you get here..so far the last few days have been ok...some sun ..some heat...some tornado's and a little rain !! Now does that sound inviting or what !
