That's it. No more going to work for 2 1/2 weeks! yay.
Now I can hang out with the kids and help keep them 'unbored'. Take them to the beach, or whatever..... Tomorrow at 5pm is the big Canada Day parade in Peachland. It is actually pretty good. It usually runs for about 45 minutes, which isn't bad for a small town. Our church always has a float with one of our bands playing. The fire department also runs a couple of trucks in it. The last couple of years Kevin and the girls have gone on the fire truck. This year we will join the church float....or just watch. Not sure who is doing what. Then we will go to Blair and Brenda Bates' for a barbeque with Shawn and Reece Worsfold and all the kids. We always have fun together. At 10:30pm are the annual Peachland fireworks. Again, a pretty good display for a small town. We love going to the town events. We know so many people here, that it is just a lot of fun! "Pope Kevin" gets to visit everyone he knows and doesn't know to his heart's content! Paige is definitely following in her father's footsteps with that personality trait! My two social butterflies!

Have fun tomorrow. Our sister and brother-in-law are leaving for the lake. We usually get together with them. But, the soccer tourny will keep us busy. (And some KFC thrown in.) We have some perty fireworks here, too. Hey, I remember Blair an Brenda and Shawn and Reece from CBC. Enjoy your BBQ!
