I love this time of year. Everything is in bloom, the grass and hillsides are green. It hasn't been so hot for so long that everything has withered. Yup, it's pretty out there! I spent the weekend at a ladies retreat at Gardom Lake. It was a wonderful, relaxing weekend. Debbie Fortnum blessed us with her music and spoken messages that God had put on her heart for us. (Hi Debbie!) Lots of wonderful truths to contemplate. We were reminded to take time to revel in God's beauty. It is truly everywhere. We live in beautiful community where it doesn't take a lot of effort to see the beauty. I have added a photo of the view from my office where I sit every day and look out the window. As you can see, it doesn't take a lot of effort to describe the beauty here in Peachland, but you know what, God's beauty is truly everywhere. I think Grande Prairie / Beaverlodge is beautiful. I love the patchwork prairies at harvest time, the brilliant sunshine in the winter. I will add one of our photos from being up north last Christmas. It was exceptionally cold, but look how beautiful it is! Some people think I am crazy to say that Grande Prairie is as beautiful as Peachland, but it is...it is just a different beauty. I know that God's beauty is everywhere, sometimes we just have to look a little harder or look at things a little differently. Thanks, God, for creating such a beautiful world for us to live and share your love with others.
