Today's challenge is to find a gift worn, given away, shared.
Worn: I am wearing a 2XL 'Canada, Eh?' cartoon moose sweater. It's huge, it's comfy and it's from my parents with a great story behind it. One visit they brought our daughters' boyfriends these funny blue sweatshirts that they'd found in a small roadside country gas station in northern Canada. The boys didn't end up wearing them as our daughters quickly took possession of them. MacKenzie and I really wanted them too so mom and dad tried to find us some on their next roadtrip past that gas station. The cashier had to go into the back room and dig to the bottom of a dusty box and she miraculously emerged with two 2XL! And thus it is my favourite comfy hometime sweatshirt!
Given away: Encouragement - I encouraged a young woman to follow her dreams and today she sent me an email that shared with me the beginning of her business venture. That was exciting! I wish all the best for her and pray that she has success in her business!
Shared: Paige is away on vacation and has kindly and generously shared her car with me. It's nice to have a little vehicle freedom!
