Love unfailing
Overtaking my heart
You take me in
Finding peace again
Fear is lost in all you are

And I would give the world to tell your story
'Cause I know that you've called me
I know that you've called me
I've lost myself for good within your promise
And I won't hide it
I won't hide it

Jesus, I believe in You
And I would go, to the ends of the earth
To the ends of the earth
For you alone are the son of God
And all the world will see
That You are God
You are God

I first heard this song about 3 years ago when we were getting ready to move to New Zealand to follow God's leading in our family's life. It is obviously very fitting to what we went through and continue to go through.... NZ sometimes does seem like the end of the earth!

I received for Christmas (with very specific directions) a book from my daughters entitled, "Over the Wide and Trackless Sea - The pioneer women and girls of New Zealand" by Megan Hutching. It is full of fascinating stories of the first women to migrate to NZ.

The first story is of a young pastor's wife who left her home in England on a 5 months voyage by ship, pregnant, and the only woman on the ship. What must she have experienced on her way to a foreign country?! No internet, no cell phones, no international airmail, no direct airline flights, no cheap long distance, months and months of no communication with her loved ones back home.

Wow, times have changed! And even though sometimes it really does feel like the ends of the earth, and sometimes we really miss our family and friends, and all things familiar 'back home', we know beyond a shadow of a doubt that this is where we are to be and that God is using us in big and small ways, known and unknown, to show His love to the world!

Thanks for your prayers and support. This truly is a mission field, as it was in the mid 1800's when that first missionary's wife sailed here from England, to how it is today, with more immigrants coming to NZ each day, all of who need to know of Jesus' love that gives us hope and a future.
